7/22/07 -- BATH, Maine. As part of Maine Open Farm Day, Hawkes Farm in Bath welcomed children of all ages. Open Farm Day is sponsored by Maine's "Get Real Get Maine" program and is annually held on the 4th Sunday in July. The farm, family operated for over 40 years by Marjorie and Edward Hawkes and their family, provides a wide variety of cut and live flowers for many mid-coast resorts, hotels and towns.
